Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18 1982. Chopra was in high school when she was crowned Miss India. She then went on to win the 2000 Miss World pageant. On the heels of that international popularity, Chopra turned her sights to the film world and quickly became a major star in the Bollywood system. She made waves on American television with the FBI drama Quantico which ran from 2015 until 2018, and made headlines due to her wedding to actor and singer Nick Jonas in December 2018. The first Bollywood film The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. She also appeared in Andaaz the same year, which debuted an array of films that included Plan, Kismat and Asambhav. While most of them failed at the box-office, Chopra's romantic comedic Mujhse Karogi was a hit. At the age of twenty, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it the same year with Jeet born to Win. Chopra declared that her debut was an unpleasant experience. "I wanted it to end when I was done with it!" I wasn't sure the process I was taking." Nick Jonas and actress Chopra went public about their relationship in summer 2018. The news of their engagement surfaced in July. According to reports, Jonas proposed to Chopra on Chopra's 36th birthday. The couple was married at an extravagant celebration that began December 1, 2018.
